UNDER THE BRIDGE...
SAD TIDINGS... TID BITS!
Under The Bridge
When You Were A Kid, Did You Have Your First Kiss
Under The Bridge?
Well, You're
Old Now And All We Can Offer You Is A Meal "Under The
Bridge". And just be
glad it's not applesauce (that's
a few years coming). This week Terry will take us
on a back roads tour and we'll wind up in Ponte Vedra at the Palm
Valley Bar and Grill (under the Nocatee Pkwy Bridge). We have been
at this location before, but this is new ownership, name, and menu.

Big Thanks To Christina
Collinson for stepping up and taking the lead with the LOH.
Let's all us give her our support to make it a success (that was a shout out
to all you ladies out there).
Big Thanks also to her
husband, Ralph (Rainman) Collinson, for getting me the wettest I
have ever been on a motorcycle (just kidding) on Sunday's ride to
Beaches. The excellent food was worth the rain endured.
Another Big Thanks to Bob Bloom
for not getting us lost in that very long and stressful ride after
our meeting last Sat. Great BBQ was had by all there.
Sad Reporting This week we lost 2 prominent figures in the
local HOG Family:
Donald A Seeley (former
Director of Daytona Beach HOG)
Donald passed away this past Friday, July 13th.
We are having a celebration of Donald’s life on
Sunday, July 22nd from 2:00 – 4:00pm at the Halifax Yacht Club
located at 331 S Beach St in Daytona Beach. We wanted to make
our family and friends aware as soon as possible.
Chris
Vonderheide (President Of Rolling Thunder and JAX
Hog member)
Chris passed away this past
Friday, July 13th. The funeral arrangements have been made
for Cris. Visitation will be on Wednesday,
July 18, 2018, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home located at 11801 San Jose Blvd. 32223 and a memorial service will be held at the
same location the following day, Thursday,
July 19, 2018 at 3:00PM. Burial will take place at a later date at the
Jacksonville National Cemetery.
I am just sorry
I never had the chance to meet these two men, but those who knew
them speak very highly of them and say they were great attributes
to our motorcycle family. They are doing KSU's in a better place
for sure.
