Okay, It's Not West And None Of Us Are
Young!
But this week we go north to
Fernandina Beach and some beachside dining at Sliders Seaside
Grille. This is a very nice trip with great roads. And at the
end you can jump into some lobster mac&cheese, crab cakes,
shrimp n grits, or a rib eye.

In Savannah.
Our party also includes an item collection for
the Lassen Veteran's Home on SR 16 in St. Augustine.
Ancient City Hog has supported the veteran's home on several
occasions in the past. Your generosity actually build the
facilities library and several years ago we visited the facility
and displayed our HOGs and fed the vets home made cookies. During
the holiday season many of the vets are in need of basic items. The
following is their wish list. Your generosity will be greatly
appreciated by the men and women who gave their all for their
country. Please bring your donations to the Ancient City Holiday
Party at Amici's on December 9. If you are unable to participate in
the party please feel free to contact me and we will arrange to
pick your donation up (ralphcollinson@aol.com or 904-305-7139). The veteran's wish list for this
year is as follows:
- $10 gift cards to Publix, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Wal-Mart
or VISA.
- cracked corn to feed to the on premises ducks and other wildlife.
- DVD of great artists and live concert performances i.e. Carnegie
Hall Series.
-Electric razors.
-Large floor puzzles (children sized).
-Bread machine mixes.
-Karaoke CD's or DVD's.
-Music on cd that is upbeat, i.e. Beach Boys, 40's, 50's and 60's,
Elvis.
-Small note pads

Remember: There is no meeting scheduled for
December. There will be an informal one at the Xmas Party.
