Spring Into Springs - Tarpon That Is!
What better way to start the Spring Season than a Ride to a Springs. The Tarpon Springs Ride is near and for those are on going on Saturday, here are some details:

Tarpon Springs Overnight

The Saturday overnight trip to Tarpon Springs will meet at the Race Track on SR 207 at 8:00 AM KSU at 8:30. Ralph Collinson will lead and John Banks will be riding sweep. We will head southwest to Williston where we will stop at McDonalds for a quick bite and bathroom break. Then south on FL 41 to Land O' Lakes where we will stop for fuel. From there it's 45 minutes to lunch at Yianni's on the Sponge Docks at Tarpon Springs. The rest of the afternoon will be free for exploring the Sponge Docks and then off to our hotel at the Tarpon Shores Inn on US Hwy 19. Dinner will be walking distance from the hotel. On Sunday morning kick stands up at 9:45 for a quick ride back to the Sponge Docks to board our Dolphin Island cruise down the Anclote River and out to the Gulf of Mexico in search of dolphins, manatees and other wildlife. The captain will beach the boat at Anclote State Preserve where you will be free to disembark and explore the island and collect shells. After the cruise a quick lunch and then head for home.

Taxidermy Galore!
For those looking for a day ride, this week's Chapter ride on Saturday offers a treat for those not afraid of stuffed animals (no, not the kiddy kind).  We are off to Clark's Fish Camp, where every meal is shared with a tiger, alligator, or a myriad of stuffed birds. And the menu, although very tasty, can also be adventurous (as in exotic animals).  This is one of our favorite destinations, so please don't miss it.
Here are the Details:

When:             Wed - 03/15- Meet at 9:30 am and KSU at 10:00am
Where:            RaceTrac on RT 16 just northwest of I95 (Opposite Outlet Mall)
Destination:   Clarks Fish Camp, Jacksonville

Who:               Ride is Lead by Steve Moran and Swept by TBA

Our Pignic, Etc!
Just A Reminder: If you haven't signed up for our May 6th picnic (that's PIGNIC to you HOGsters), here is the link to do so:

Etc!
For those who like riding and history and have either ATT Uverse or Direct TV, check out this show - American Ride. It is on the BYU channel (1567 on ATT), usually weekdays at 7:30 PM. Cool show in which a biker rides around the country and talks about the local history.  Give it a try!

Editor's apology: Last week, I forgot to include Sunday's Ride to the Daytona Gun Range ... please don't beat me, I swear it won't happen again

Looking Forward To Seeing You All Soon!,  Steve
